Description
Ideal for lawns, play areas & home sports pitches. Natural olive green appearance. Top quality sports turf which will not rot or fade. 15mm open textured surface close tufted for a greener finish. Very hard wearing sand filled surface. 20kg silica sand infill per square metre. Available in 2m or 4m sections cut to your required length.
Suitable surfaces
Laid onto a prepared aggregate and sharp sand compacted base. Edging can be finished using a 4 x 2 timber frame or by sliding under adjacent flagstones.
How to calculate what you need
Verdeturf is supplied in lengths of 2m or 4m cut to your specified length. To calculate how much grass you will need for your area first measure the dimensions of all sides in metres. It is then useful to draw these dimensions to scale on a squared piece of paper. See our Calculating what you need page for a feet to metres calculator and other useful information.
Brief installation instructions
Verdeturf is supplied in a roll as with a carpet and can be cut to fit the laying area using a sharp Stanley knife. Joins are made using joining tape. The key to getting years of use from your artificial grass is in the preparation of your base. It is important that the area is free draining and level. Any lumps and bumps will show through the grass if not levelled before laying. Adhesive is required only for joins as the Verdeturf is held in place by silica sand brushed into the carpet after laying. See the DIY installation page for a preparation guide and useful tips.
