Description
A practical and economical alternative to wet pour and rubber tiles for children’s play areas. A reconstituted foam shock pad that is laid underneath a sandfilled artificial grass carpet, giving a soft, neat safety surface with a tested critical fall height of 1.2m.
Ideal at home, for nurseries and schools. Offering an all weather pitch all year round that will quickly dry after a downpour giving children extra outdoor time to keep them happy and healthy.
Foam is supplied in pads that lock together like a jigsaw measuring 2.25m x 0.94m = 2.12m2. Each pad is 25mm thick. Ideally laid with Verdeluxe artificial lawn.

Laid on natural surfaces with a prepared base of aggregate and sharp sand.
How to calculate what you need
To calculate how many shock pads you will need for your area first measure the dimensions of all sides in metres. It is then useful to draw these dimensions to scale on a squared piece of paper. See our Calculating what you need page for a feet to metres calculator and other useful information.
Brief installation Instructions
Pro-Play Shock Pads are linked together in jigsaw fashion on a prepared aggregate and sharp sand base. Artificial grass is then laid over the shock pads and a sand infill brushed in. For more information on laying artificial grass, please see our DIY Installation guide and useful tips.
