Super Verdeturf is a strong tufted grass that can be laid with or without a sand infill. It is realistic in appearance and can be laid either on a hard surface or on soil with an agregate and sand preparation.

Verdeluxe is one of our most realistic looking grasses with 2 tones of colour and a long 28mm pile. It can be either sand filled or fixed to a frame so the choice is yours. It has a luxurious, soft feel due to the use of polyethylene and polypropylene yarns.

All our grasses are UV stable and are protected against rotting and fading. They are easy to keep clean using a mild detergent and water hose.

Other uses

We’ve detailed just some of the many uses where our artificial grasses are the ideal solution. There are many more applications and we are happy to help you in making the right choice for your requirements. Our team are available online and on the phone.

Is artificial grass suitable for use with pets?
Yes synthetic grass is a particularly good lawn choice if you have a pet who digs up your garden or is staining the grass. Artificial grass is very tough and can not be dug up, it is free draining and will not stain. You can even wash it down with a mild detergent such as washing up liquid to avoid smells. We especially recommend Verdeturf for use with pets as it is super tough and built on an extra free draining base.
How long does synthetic grass last?
Our artificial grasses have a life expectancy of approximately 10 years with heavy usage and longer with light usage.
Why do some artificial grasses have a sand infill?
The sand infill has two purposes. It helps the strands stand up straighter on longer pile grasses and it holds the grass in place without the need for adhesive or nails when placing on an aggregate base. Grass is normally laid on an aggregate base where natural lawn is being replaced.
If I have a sand infill fake grass will it get in my shoes and in the house?
No, the sand is brushed into the artificial grass carpet and quickly compacts down after the first rainfall.
I have heard stories of friction burns caused by artificial grass pitches - is the same true of artificial grass for gardens?
Friction burns were caused on Astroturf commercial pitches in the past. However, the manufacture of artificial grass has come a long way since the early days of all weather pitches. Different materials are used that are far less likely to cause burns when falling or sliding.
Can artificial grass look natural?
Yes in particular Verdeturf, SuperVerdeturf and Verdeluxe are natural looking grasses although which one is preferred comes down to personal taste. Some of our artificial grasses have a brighter green look preferred by those wishing to use it for exhibitions, decking covering, putting and indoor usage. Such grasses would include Verdegrass and Verdetop pitch.
Can artificial grass be left outside all year round?
Yes, it is UV stable and designed to be left outside all year without rotting or fading. The average estimated lifespan of our grass is 10 years with heavy use outdoors.
Can I buy a carpet of artificial grass and roll it out when I need it?
Yes, many bowls clubs and schools do just this. The grass we recommend for this purpose is Verdegrass.
If I lay artificial grass on decking will the wood rot underneath?
If there is no problem with the wood decking prior to laying artificial grass then there will be no problem after laying. Many people choose to lay synthetic grass onto decking to overcome slipperiness, particularly on sloping areas.
Will weeds grow through my artificial grass lawn?
The key to ensuring that there are no problems with weeds in the long term is to ensure that the base where the artificial grass carpet is laid is well prepared. In the case of an aggregate base extra security against weeds can be ensured by adding a layer of geotextile sheeting before laying the grass.
If weeds or moss grow in your lawn the use of domestic weedkiller from your local garden centre will not harm your artificial grass lawn. Alternatively, moss can be removed by using a stiff brush.
What artificial grass do you recommend for home football pitches?
We recommend Verdeturf as it is tough, sand infilled and soft underfoot. Please see our gallery for photos of Verdeturf used for domestic football pitches.
Which artificial grass do you recommend for children’s play areas?
Again Verdeturf is excellent to use around children’s play equipment such as climbing frames and trampolines. It can also be laid with our Pro-play shock pads to give extra springiness. These have been tested to an EU critical fall height of 1.2m
Which artificial grass do you recommend for putting practice?
As Verdegrass has virtually non-directional pile it makes it particularly good for putting practice and it is used in top golf academies for this purpose.
What artificial grass do you recommend to lay on decking or a hard surface such as a pool surround?
The best artificial grasses to lay on hard surfaces are Verdegrass, SuperVerdegrass and Verdeluxe. These can all be laid without a sand infill and can be bonded to the surface using one of our outdoor adhesives.
